High-Stakes Testing Accommodations
When someone has a condition that impacts learning, they often struggle with standardized tests (e.g., SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT). In order to get accommodations on standardized tests , the testing organizations usually require a psycho-educational or neuropsychological assessment to demonstrate that a person has a disability that requires special accommodations in order for them to take the test on a level playing field with their non-disabled peers. To get accommodations, you typically need a recent evaluation showing assessment from a qualified evaluator with appropriate clinical information to substantiate a disability and evidence to establish a rationale for the requested accommodations.
